Opened since 1991, Papillon resort is one of the first family resort of Samui island.
Idealy nestled on east nothern coast, 5 minutes drive to Chaweng Center, it’s offering the quietness and tranquility, close to all activities.
Located on sea front, facing Matlang island, Papillon resort offer an amazing and unique view of Chaweng Bay. Enjoy the view in a long chair near the swimming pool or at the bar/restaurant.
The 23 Bungalows are located in luxurious tropical garden in a way to respect nature and privacy.
Decorated in a modern Lana-thai style mixing wood, slate stone and actual design.
All bungalows are air conditionned, equiped with mini bar, TV, free wifi, safe, comfortable bathroom and private terrace.
Overlooking Chaweng beach, Papillon Resort offers a nice swimming-pool with relaxing Jacuzzi and for the smaller ones, a baby pool. To complete the relaxation, a massage area offering traditionnal’s massage and body care, on sea front.
You don’t feel going out for lunch or dinner? or prefer a little snack in the room? No problem, our all day bar/restaurant is inclunding room service and serve a wide range of Thai, asian and European food.
The resort is only 15mn drive from Samui airport and 5mn drive from Chaweng center.
All services are at you disposal like, car and motorbike rental, laundry service, excursions and ticketing.

I stayed there in October 2022 just after the island opened back up, I didn’t expect too much, it’s a small resort and privately owned. So I wanted to support small companies during my stay. I had a fantastic time, and all the staff were extremely helpful. I was going to stay again last October while is was on the island but the time we where due to stay I ended up house sitting for partners family instead. But will definitely be visiting again. I love the place. And think it’s cheap enough to overlook a few of the flaws of a small struggling business after Covid.

Located on sea front which is already a strong added value , as you can dine , have breakfast and lunch on an amazing view of chaweng bay . Food is ok and service so and so ... but the set up and view just justify all .

Not the prettiest spot around- lovely bar staff - only stopped for an OJ each - was expensive in comparison to others

Rooms looked good but there were no facilities inside Bonus: there was a scorpion in my room which jumped on my hand out of nowhere. It then ran and they couldn't find it. We slept hoping it wouldn't come again
